    Colors TV’s dance reality show Jhalak Dikhla Jaa is set to return with a new season and interestingly a new host too. The latest report suggests that show host Maniesh Paul will be replaced by comedian Bharti Singh . However, the makers have not yet made the official announcement.

    According to reports, the makers are keen to have Bharti on board and the latter is also excited about the offer. A source close to the development revealed that producers wanted a change as the show is returning after five years. "People might have expected Maniesh Paul to make the cut but this time his name was not considered. Perhaps the makers wanted a change. When Bharti's name cropped up, almost every decision maker in question endorsed it and it became a sort of a unanimous choice," the source told Etimes. The offer is yet to be considered by the comedian as she is yet to sign on the dotted line.

    The popular show will be judged by Bollywood’s top names Madhuri Dixit , Nora Fatehi, and Karan Johar . TV personalities like Niti Taylor, Hina Khan , Shubhangi Atre, Nia Sharma , Dheeraj Dhoopar , Paras Kalnawat, and sports personalities like Harbhajan Singh, Suresh Raina, and Lasith Malinga will be competing against each other to win the coveted title. Also, Ada Khan and Shaheer Sheikh are also rumoured to be part of the show. The show is likely to air on September 2.

    Earlier, there were reports that the makers wanted Kajol as judge, however, she refused to be part of the show. It is also expected that cricketer Yuvraj Singh may join as a participant in the show. Meanwhile, the last season of 'Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa premiered in 2016. It was hosted by Manish Paul and judged by Jacqueline Fernandez, Karan Johar, Ganesh Hegde, and Farah Khan . Teriya Magar defeated Salman Yusuff Khan and Shantanu Maheshwari to win the title.
