However, if there is one thing that the new season has received a lot of appreciation for, it’s the accurate representation of the Sharma sisters who are shown to be an aristocratic family from India.     Priyanka Chopra shared a still of actresses Simone Ashley and Charithra Chandran from Bridgerton who play Kate Sharma and Edwina Sharma respectively on her Instagram stories. The White Tiger actress then praised the show creator Shonda Rhimes for her accurate representation of the ‘Desi’ characters on the show. Priyanka wrote, “I have to say, it's so wonderful to see desi representation on mainstream TV. It was such an anomaly when I started. Love the show and the Sharma sisters." Take a look at her post.

    Meanwhile talking about the show Bridgerton Season 2 focused on Anthony Viscount’s quest to find a suitable bride for himself. As he zeroed in upon the ‘diamond’ of the season, Edwina Sharma to be his potential bride, things soon turn haywire and complicated when sparks fly between him and Edwina’s elder sister Kate Sharma. The show also stars Jonathan Bailey, Adjoah Andoh, Pheobe Dynevor, Nicola Coughlan, Claudia Jessie, and others in the lead roles.

    Meanwhile, talking about Priyanka Chopra, the actress has a line of interesting projects in her pipeline. She will be seen in the Amazon Prime series, Citadel opposite Richard Madden. The actress furthermore has some Hollywood projects riled up like Text For You, Ending Things, and the adaptation of the novel, 'Secret Daughter'. She then has the Farhan Akhtar directorial, Jee Le Zaraa opposite Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt . On the personal front, Priyanka welcomed her first child, a daughter with husband Nick Jonas via surrogacy.
