Shamita Shetty talks about dealing with her anxitey issues post Bigg Boss 15.
Shamita Shetty has spent nearly five months between 2021 and 2022 in the Bigg Boss house. The actress went from being a contestant on Bigg Boss OTT in August last year to again entering the Bigg Boss 15 house less than a month after it ended. Shamita finally ended her Bigg Boss run with the grand finale of Bigg Boss 15 in January where she finished as the fourth runner-up.
Well, Shamita may be out of the house and back in the company of her family but she is still taking her time recovering from her Bigg Boss experience. The actress admitted in a recent interview with Siddharth Kannan that she is working on getting over her anxiety issues and is also seeing a therapist about it.
Talking about her struggles to get back to real life Shamita said, "I wouldn’t say I am 100% back to my life out here. You know what I mean? Thoda time lag raha hai. And I didn’t realise this. Jab bohot saare log mere aas paas hua karte they, I would feel very strange and unfortunately for me, my birthday was in a few days, so I had to see a lot of people but I wanted to run away."
Determined to overcome her issues Shamita added, "Mera anxiety level ghar ke andar bohot hi badh gaya tha and I already had anxiety issues, so it’s definitely something I am dealing with. I have a therapist, who is very good. Mujhe at least pata hai ki yeh jo phases aate hai, temporary phases hai.”
Shamita has been spending quality time with family post Bigg Boss 15 and is working on getting to know her boyfriend Raqesh Bapat better who she met on Bigg Boss OTT.
Raqesh, Shamita, her sister Shilpa Shetty and their family recently spent a weekend away in Alibagh.
