Shark Tank India: Did Sippline founder take a dig at Ashneer Grover for bashing his product?

One of the most high-pitched dramatic moments of the popular business show Shark Tank India was when Ashneer Grover bashed Sippline founder Rohit Warrier ’s product in one of the episodes. Now, it seems that Rohit might be taking a dig at Grover where he could be seen defending his product. The Youtube short video had Rohit saying how his product is also suitable for beverages like tea and coffee and not only alcohol.

Talking about the video, Rohit Warrier begins by saying how he is not mocking or roasting anyone through this video referring to Ashneer Grover. The video then shows some stills of Ashneer bashing Rohit wherein he could be seen how Sippline will fail as a product when it comes to alcoholic drinks. Rohit then asks the audience questions on whether they order alcohol instead of tea or coffee when they check into a hotel or whether they drink alcohol instead of water when they feel thirsty.

Rohit Warrier then explains how his product is suitable for tea and coffee and not just limited to alcohol. He furthermore says that Sippline takes care of the oral hygiene of an individual by protecting the rim of their glasses. Take a look at a screengrab from Warrier’s video.

Talking about Ashneer Grover’s reaction towards Sippline, the Shark Tank India panelist said, “I have never seen a worse product in my life and don’t want to see it in the future either. God kill me now, such a bad product. After this, I don’t want to see anything else in my life now.” His sharp criticism of Rohit Warrier’s Sippline product had invited several memes by the netizens too.

In an earlier interview with comedians Sahil Shah and Rohan Joshi , Ashneer Grover had also spoken about his heated episode with Rohit Warrier’s product. The entrepreneur had said, “I'm thinking if I had mistakenly told him that I'm investing in this product, but you have to create five more good products, I would have been rolling on the floor laughing that I'm being entertained live), but not otherwise.”
