    After a phenomenal response to Shark tank India season 1, Sony Entertainment Television has officially flagged of Shark Tank India season 2 with an announcement. The channel has invited the entrepreneurs from all across the country to register their business ideas to earn an opportunity to impress the ‘sharks’ of the show and seek their guidance on making it big.

    Last season, Sharks Anupam Mittal , Namita Thapar , Vineeta Singh, Aman Gupta , Ashneer Grover , Peyush Bansal and Ghazal Agha collectively invested over Rs. 36 crores in various businesses on Shark Tank India and served wholesome entertainment on the side.

    The season came to be known as much for the effortless bonding and bickering of these ‘sharks’ as it came to be known for giving a platform to some revolutionary and out of the box business ideas.

    Social media took great interest in the episodes, starting meme fests on the reaction of the ‘sharks’ to the pitches. Even the Shark Tank India rejects found their own audience on social media while the audience interest grew in ideas that were invested in by the sharks.

    On their official social media handles, Sony TV wrote, “Are you a budding entrepreneur? If yes, this is your chance to make it big in the world of business!”

    The potential pitchers can register their business using the Sony LIV app.

    With Shark Tank India entering its second season, fans would certainly hope to see most of these sharks returning with their eccentric personalities. With the success of season 1 which saw over 85000 entries, it can certainly be believed that the response to season 2 could be much larger in terms of exciting entries from new businesses.

    A date for the premiere of Shark Tank India season 2 hasn’t yet been set by the channel, but like the first season, it is expected to arrive on Sony in the second half of the year.
