Before returning to our television screens with the brand new season of The Kapil Sharma Show, the team had shared a hilarious teaser introducing us to the old as well as new characters. While Sumona Chakravarti reprised the role of comedy king Kapil Sharma’s on-screen wife, actress Srishty Rode joined the star cast as his neighbor and mohalle ki raunak Ghazal. In the video, Kappu woke up in a hospital and could not recognize his wife. But he clearly remembered the number on Ghazal’s scooty.

Well, the latest teaser of the comedy show shared by Kapil has revealed that his wife Ginni Chatrath is not the only woman fasting for him this Karwa Chauth. In the clip, Sumona aka Bindu asks Srishty who she has kept a fast for. It turns out that both of them are fasting for Kapil’s long life! Their hilarious conversation shot on stage seems like a scene from an overly dramatic Bollywood film. While Sumona is Biwi No. 1, who is wearing a red saree and gajra in her hair, Srishty as Ghazal is her ‘sautan’ dressed in pink.

Challenging Ghazal, Sumona very seriously delivers a hilarious dialogue. She says, “Itna bharosa hai apne pyaar pe toh koshish karke dekh lo. Main tumhe apne Kappu ka poo bhi nahi lene dungi.” When Srishty says she wants the whole of Kappu, Kapil comes in between and asks, “Koi mujhse bhi toh pooch lo.” This leaves Archana Puran Singh in splits! Well, we can’t wait to see how Kapil’s real wife Ginni reacts to this.

Many new actors joined the star cast of The Kapil Sharma Show this year along with Srishty. Beloved team members Krushna Abhishek and Chandan Prabhakar, on the other hand, decided to take a break this season.
