The Kapil Sharma Show written updates: Dasvi star Abhishek Bachchan reveals how an Agra Central Jail inmate wanted to work at his house

The cast of Dasvi graced The Kapil Sharma Show recently and the episode was a laugh riot. Abhishek Bachchan , Nimrat Kaur and Yami Gautam were left in stitches at the antics of the performers on the show and also shared had some hilarious anecdotes of their own to share from the shoot of Dasvi.

Here are the key updates from the Dasvi episode of The Kapil Sharma Show season 2 

Kapil Sharma opened the episode by sharing some funny insights from a time when passing the 10th standard was a big deal. He cracked several jokes about the time when passing high school was a big accomplishment and how people usually got married on having passed their metric exam.

He then welcomed Abhishek, Nimrat and Yami – the cast of Dasvi on stage. He joked how everytime Abhishek coms on the show, not only does he add to the content with his stories but also brings in glamour with the lovely leading ladies.

Abhishek shared on the show if he ever discusses his scripts with his father Amitabh Bachchan as Kapil asked if the mega star is too busy to weigh in on his work. The actor revealed how they have conversations at home about scripts have been offered but when it comes to selection they don’t weigh in on each other’s work. The Dasvi star joked that his father believes that he should make his own mistakes and wants nothing to do with it.

Nimrat revealed the troubles of shooting with cattle on set and revealed how on set she had to wait for a cow to stop wiggling its tail before the shot could be taken.

Kapil went on to quiz Yami playing a jailor in the real Agra Centra Jail for Dasvi and wondered if any criminals who were being let out from jail while shooting ever returned because she was there. While Yami laughed, Abhishek revealed it did indeed happen that inmates wanted to extend their time there to see Yami, he also hilariously added that none wanted to stay put when he was shooting there 10 days before the actress.

Talking about Agra Centra Jail, Abhishek and Yami shared many stories about working around real prisoners. Abhishek revealed how one day, he sat next to an inmate who was locked in for 20 years. When he learnt that the man had beat up somebody while losing in a game of cricket, he simply made the excuse of his shot being ready and slipped away. Another inmate locked in for thievery approached a unit member to seek employment at Abhishek’s home.

Yami shared a touching story of a man who sent a register her way for an autograph. She discovered how the man had made detailed notes about various careers in the book for his daughter as he wanted her to become anything she wants when she grew up. Yami learnt on meeting the inmate that the man spends all his free time in the library research about various careers for his daughter.

The cast also spoke about their time in school and Yami said she feels that students are made to feel that they are broad to give 10thboard exams. Abhishek said his favourite subject is drama. Kapil joked that people go to vacation in Switzerland, Abhishek went to school there. The actor said he came to Mumbai to vacation.

Chandu in his segment joked that if Yami’s husband Aditya Dhar wants to make a biopic on him he should contract Kapil since he comments about his life as if he knows him better. Kapil also revealed how Chandu was calling Nimrat, ‘nimantran’ during rehearsals.

A particularly entertaining segment was ‘Post ka post-mortem’ where Kapil read hilarious comments from the posts of Nimrat, Abhishek and Yami. The Dasvi actor loved the comments on his Holi post, and one with basketballer Kevin Durant on Instagram. Nimrat and Yami also laughed a lot at these funny comments on their post.

Kapil asked the three actors things that they miss doing from their days of anonymity. Nimrat said she missed gorging on pani-puri on the street. Kapil asked Abhishek if he was ever able to do these things being a star-kid, he revealed he still enjoys corn on a cob with his father Amitabh Bachchan during the rainy season in Mumbai by Worli sea face.

Kiku Sharda and Krushna Abhishek came on stage as Dharmendra and Sunny Deol in a hilarious act. Kiku again cracked a joke about Krushna’s tiff with his uncle Govinda by trying to name him ‘mama’. Krushna as Dharmendra how his son ways wanted to see the beauty of Himachal and then pointed to Yami. He also reprimanded Sunny played by Kiku for going to Pakistan and leaving his ‘gaddi’ there and breaking handpumps and compared him to Vicky from Uri when there for a surgical strike in the country in the movie.

The episode closed with Kapil asking the studio audience about how can a person be happier by being overly educated and or if they are not educated and are living in ignorance. A fitness fan group of Abhishek also performed on stage for him on Dasvi songs.
