‘Trophy bhi do khairat mai’: Netizens are furious with Bigg Boss 16 for giving Nimrit captaincy & ticket to finale

Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia was given the captaincy as well as Ticket To Finale without a task last night. This has not gone down well with netizens, who are calling it ‘khairat’.

In last night’s episode of Bigg Boss 16 , the mandali members were still in mourning after Sajid Khan and Abdu Rozik’s exit. But BB shook them out of it when he announced the Ticket To Finale Week. However, there was a twist. Instead of holding a task for it, BB gave the captaincy for the week along with the Ticket To Finale to Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia . He added that everybody has the fair chance to take it away from her, but didn’t reveal how the contestants would do so. Well, netizens feel it was unfair to give this opportunity to Nimrit on a silver platter.

Tina Datta and Priyanka Chahar Choudhary also discussed how Nimrit didn’t deserve the unfair advantage given to her, because she never worked for it. Well, netizens couldn’t agree more. One angry fan shared, “An absolute shame! Getting everything served on a platter without having to fight for it! @BiggBoss shame on yous for playing dorty! If you want to hand over the trophy to nimmo Aunty, just do it and spare us the horror!” Meanwhile another tweet read: “I hate #NimritKaurAhluwalia because she got everything in the platter Na Captaincy ek bar kamayi. Sab Khairat mai Mila hai didi ko. Safe bhi ho gyi. @BiggBoss @ColorsTV trophy bhi do khairat mai isko.”

As Nimrit was the first celebrity to enter the BB house, Bigg Boss had made her the first captain of the season. She came across as a strong competitor but eventually her spark fizzled out and she got lost in the mandali. Ever since then, she’s one contestant who is given a wake-up call every weekend. Even her father suggested her to play solo during Family Week. Well, netizens are upset because they didn’t see a change in Nimrit’s game yet she got the captaincy and ticket to finale handed to her without a task. Plus the captaincy saved her from this week’s nominations.

Do you think Nimrit is getting an unfair advantage?
