Tunisha Sharma ’s tragic death and the subsequent arrest of her co-star and ex-boyfriend Sheezan Khan has inevitably landed the makers of their show Ali Baba: Daastan-E-Kabul in a fix. However, it seems that the makers of the show have managed to find a replacement for Sheezan within a short time. The said actor also shares a connection with Tunisha.

We are talking about actor Abhishek Nigam who had earlier worked with Tunisha in the show Hero Gayab Mode. The two had also shared screen space in a music video titled ‘Heeriye.’ According to a news report in Jagran, Abhishek will be replacing Sheezan as Ali Baba on the show. However, it has still not been revealed who will be stepping into Tunisha’s shoes for the role of Shehzadi Mariam on the show. But there has been no confirmation or statement released on this news floating around by the makers or Abhishek.

Tunisha was found hanging in one of the makeup rooms of the set. Her mother Vanita Sharma filed a case of an alleged abetment for suicide against Sheezan Khan. Khan was soon arrested after the same and while he was supposed to be kept in judicial custody till Wednesday (December 28), his custody was increased by two days since the cops needed some more time to continue with their investigation. The police officials have also revealed that Sheezan has not been contributing fully to the investigation.

It has been reported that the actor is changing his stance on the reason behind his breakup with Tunisha Sharma. In a press conference that was held by Tunisha’s mother today (December 30), she also accused Sheezan Khan of slapping her daughter when the latter confronted him about cheating on her. She also stated that Sheezan was taking drugs and that he and his family were forcing Tunisha to allegedly convert to Islam.
