This upcoming Weekend Ka Vaar episode of Bigg Boss 16 will be a high-octane one. One of the highlights of the same will be an ugly fight that will take place between contestants Manya Singh and Sreejita De. During the fight, Manya will pass a statement where she will tell Sreejita, “I was the ambassador of the country and who are you? A TV actress.” Now TV actor Arjun Bijlani has strongly condemned Manya’s statement and has lashed out at her on his Twitter handle.

Without taking Manya Singh’s name, Arjun Bijlani said that he is sick of hearing people demeaning TV actors and actresses on Bigg Boss. The Miley Jab Hum Tum actor also added that TV is a big medium and will always remain big. His full tweet read, “I’m sick of people passing comments like Yeh toh tv actress hai and or yeh toh tv actor hai .. And the funniest is they use the platform of tv and pass such comments. Don’t come on television if you have such a big problem. Tv big hai tha aur rahega .” Take a look at the post.

Arjun Bijlani’s post also got support from former Bigg Boss 13 contestant Devoleena Bhattacharjee and Bigg Boss 7 winner Gauahar Khan. Devoleena quoted his tweet and wrote, “They come to tv, make money, and then they abuse TV.” While Gauahar Khan also quoted Arjun’s tweet and stated, “Exactly, calling self an Indian ambassador and doesn’t know the basic of inclusion, tolerance and respect! #irony .”

Many fans also agreed with Arjun Bijlani’s statement and thanked him for taking a stand against contestants belittling TV celebs on Bigg Boss. But many other netizens also pointed out the ‘hypocrisy’ when TV actors also pick on the profession of contestants belonging to another field. The episode will also see Manya Singh getting schooled by Salman Khan for the statement.
