    Copyright violation complaint filed against Ek Tha Tiger

    Yash Raj Films' latest blockbusterEk Tha Tigerhas found itself in a copyright row as writer Anand Panda has lodged a police complaint against the makers of theSalman Khanstarrer film alleging that they had stolen his script. In his complaint filed against producer Aditya Chopra and director Kabir Khan at the Amboli Police Station, Panda alleged that they have lifted his story without providing him any compensation. The FIR was filed on the basis of a complaint lodged by Panda at the Film Writer's Association (FWA). Panda said that he had approached YRF with his script sometime in 2011 but after reading it, they rejected it but when he sawEk Tha Tiger, he was shocked to see that the film bore many similarities to his own script thus he approached the Film Writer's Association (FWA) with his complaint. The appeal has been moved to the Bombay High Court.
