Ramesh Venkatraman's Andhadhi is definitely having a good story-line, which could have been definitely made into a good thriller, only if the director was more experienced, got more budget, got some good actors, who could actually perform well and a crisp running time. In short, what I'm actually trying to say is that Andhadhi's core plot is laudable but not the whole film, which looks amateurish and nothing actually happening on big screen.
There is a sincere cop, there is a politician, there is a businessman and all these lives are going to be interconnected. Wow, the producer would have felt it like an interesting story but sadly he failed to notice whether he could fund enough or his director is capable of pulling it off.
We can't keep telling ourselves that just because the film is made by newcomer, critics should be lenient. Well, films like Aaranya Kaandam, Kaaka Muttai too are made by newcomers with the limited budget.
So, Andhadhi's core story is good but not the whole film! Watch it at your own risk!
