Jigina primarily deals about how Facebook and internet have changed the purity of romance and how people are actually deceived by the glittering fake profiles on the internet.

The film is all about a call taxi driver called Paavadai Samy who starts a proxy profile and falls in love with a girl who is again a proxy. Both Paavadai and Karugamani (proxy girl) expect a better match with fair skin but they land up in a situation to commit suicide. The rest of the film gives a meaningful message to the society but that doesn't mean the film is an epic one, thanks to the loud dialogues and cliches.

Director Ravi Nanda Periyasamy has definitely conceived a great story with a superb message but he falls short with the execution part as the dialogues are very ordinary. The music and cinematography are quite but the director failed to deliver good performances from the artists and they over acted in the movie.

The film's major plus point is the climax and the scenes that come before it. The core part of the message starts unveiling at that particular point otherwise, one could easily write off the movie. The only reason to watch this movie is because it has a strong social message that is applicable to today's society.
