Verdict - One time watch but not for the faint hearted.

    MetroWatch trailerRelease date : June 24, 2016

The director does not waste time in setting up the movie and straight away we understand that its going to be based on chain snatching in the metro and its after effects. Even after the censor board recommended few cuts to make it U, the director stood up for his movie and went with A rating, which is quite visible in the movie. Violence is predominant and spread throughtout the movie. There are a few scenes that are definitely not for the weak hearted, which shows the dark shades of the movie.

Debut actor shirish was pretty decent. Bobby Simha was good in this supporting role but the director could have made good use of him in more scenes. Music was good and repetitive in some scenes. Screenplay could have been more gripping and racy. And so does the editing. A cut here and there would have made the film more intense and fast. Cinematography was brilliant and captured the mood of the film in an apt way.

Metro, is a very good attempt by a new director, who made a decent film without much commercial compromises. But the execution could have been more better. Its definitely not for the faint hearted as it has many violent scenes.
