    Verdict - doesn't connect emotionally.

So 'actor' Vijay Anthony is back with Pichaikaaran after a decent success in his previous outings as a hero. This is more serious kind of a character which he didn't do justice. Not even once you will feel for him but rather sit back and munch your butter popcorn. He was OK in India Pakistan and should have stuck to such light roles. This character required a lot of emoting with just facial expressions. But Vijay Anthony gave a muted performance that was totally lifeless.

The movie is about how a multi millionaire industrialist takes up begging for 48 days. There are some conditions like we saw in Arunachalam movie. In the course of his begging career, he falls in love with a girl and also gets caught in few petty issues and thereby we have to sit through some fights. So what happens after 48 days is the movie all about.

I basically liked the storyline and some little nuances, which makes you realize the values of life. But that's just 10% in the movie. Rest of the movie we have to sit and stare at expressionless face of Vijay Anthony. There are some unexpected humor moments in the movie that really opened me up and I enjoyed those little segments. I didn't quite find the film is to be dragging despite all these dull moments. Music sounded repetitive and cinematography was pretty decent.

As we already spoke about Vijay Anthony's performance, we can directly move on to the conclusion because there are no other notable performances. Overall, Pichaikaaran tries to dedicate this movie for those who have indefinite love on their mother, which is a good plot but this mother son relationship was not explored in depth and I felt emotionally disconnected.
