Love >> friendship and Seerat >> Sundeep, so Rahul aka Vishnu applies differentiation on Sundeep aka Tiger to integrate with Seerat aka Ganga. Taking a leaf out of Arya 2 and Solo, Sundeep Kishen's role in Tiger is of someone who'll go to any length for the sake of his best friend, in this case Vishnu (Rahul Ravindran). Through a weird coincidence, Ganga (Seerat Kapoor) from Banaras ends up being Vishnu's girl friend even before they meet each other, eventually at GITAM college symposium. Then enters the Tiger (Sundeep) who is half-Arya 2, half-Solo, advising his friend not to fall for a girl from so far away.

The movie is short, lasting just two hours and yet some important bits have been edited out for some strange reason. As a result of that, the audience have to make do with their own imagination, in this case as to how the movie started the way it started, with Vishnu severely bleeding after being beaten up by goons. Just before he goes unconscious, he manages to give the number of Tiger, even though they have been separated since 1 year, after Vishnu asks Tiger to get away from his life and stop interfering. Tiger gets the call, he comes to the aid of his heavily unconscious friend Vishnu in Banaras, hammers all the goons and realises that it is a case of honour killings, where even Ganga's life is in grave danger. He has a change of heart after he sees how much she loves her and so decides to unite the two lovers.

Firstly, it is a surprise that they chose the name Tiger over Shiva. Although honour killings lends a nice tagline, at the heart the movie is still, two lovers wanting to elope and their friend uniting them. But, the movie is not boring at any stage. Vi Anand uses a smart screenplay to keep the laughs, thanks to Satya, Saptagiri and a bunch of others who are now standard issue comedy artists in almost every Telugu movie. Sundeep has some intense scenes and dialogues and Rahul plays the boy in love quite convincingly. While Seerat is a good actress, her make-up is terrible in the movie and way below par.

Chota K Naidu's cinematography in this movie is its main strength. From shots of Rajahmundry to those of Benaras, everything has been done beautifully, although there is too much artificial colour at some points. Thaman's background music is pulsating and although not fresh, it creates a decent impact. While Sundeep does well with his presence, his dialogue delivery is below par, constantly fluctuating between Pawan Kalyan and Mahesh Babu, mostly unoriginal. All in all, it is a movie that won't bore you to death but at the same time doesn't have enough fire towards the end to keep you involved or interested.
