Shruti Hassan And Mithun Chakraborty Gear Up For Their Web Series Debut, Begin Shooting In Mussoorie: Reports

The web series space is really growing big as more and more celebrities embrace the medium. The latest to join the OTT bandwagon are Mithun Chakraborty and Shruti Hassan. The two stars are said to have begun shooting for their debut digital outing for Amazon Prime Video in Mussoorie.
According to an entertainment portal Shruti and Mithun have signed a web series produced by Siddharth P. Malhotra which is based on the novel ‘The Bestseller She Wrote’ by Ravi Subramanian which was published in 2015. Described as a tale of love, betrayal, redemption it focuses on a bestselling novelist and his relationship with his protégé.
The yet-untitled show, according to Peepingmoon.com, went on floors on Mussoorie, Uttarakhand on Wednesday, January 13 and the cast will shot from start to finish for the next two months. Mukul Abhyankar will helm the series which also stars Annu Kapoor, Gauahar Khan and Arjan Bajwa in key roles.
The series will mark the return of Shruti Hassan to a Hindi production after four years while Mithun will be returning to a set after his health deteriorated in December during the shoot for his film the Kashmir Files.
