The much awaited trailer of Tigmanshu Dhulia’s upcoming film Yaara was shared yesterday and it received a big thumbs up from the audience. Featuring an extremely talented ensemble star cast of actors including Vidyut Jammwal, Amit Sadh, Vijay Varma and Kenny Basumatary, the crime drama follows the story of 4 childhood friends who grow up to become criminals and form the notorious Chaukdi Gang. While the trailer shed most of the limelight on Vidyut and Amit, the first song Khudkhushi gives us a brief glimpse of the bond shared by the 4 buddies.

Beautifully helmed by Rev Shergill and Siddharth Pandit, Khudkhushi is a peppy yet soothing track which will remind you of your good old childhood days and friends. Well, except for all the crime! Phagun, Mitwa, Rizwan and Bahadur go through many ups and downs in their journey, but the two things which are always constant are crime and their unbreakable friendship. The lovely track shows us exactly that, over a timeline of 15 years or so, and will definitely leave you wanting more. Take a look:
Yaara is a remake of the 2011 French film A Gang Story. Also featuring Shruti Haasan and Sanjay Mishra in prominent roles, the film was initially scheduled to release in theatres. However, makers decided to go for a direct digital release due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. The film will now premiere on OTT platform ZEE5 on 30th July 2020. Yaara is much more than just a buddy film and is definitely a must-watch! Did you enjoy the first track as much as the trailer?
