The ISL previously announced that the final would be hosted at the home ground of the finalist with the higher ranking in the league table standings. Talking about the final, it will also mark a rematch of the ISL final from three seasons ago, when Mumbai City FC emerged victorious to claim the ISL Cup in the 2020-21 season.
