Ananya Panday broke up with Ishaan Khatter because she couldn’t stop thinking about someone else?

A few months ago it was reported that Ananya Panday and Ishaan Khatter had parted ways after dating for three long years. It came as a shock to fans. But what was even more surprising was that the actress was linked to Aditya Roy Kapur soon after her break up. Well, on Koffee With Karan 7 , filmmaker Karan Johar hinted that Ananya and Aditya did indulge in light flirting during his party. During the episode, it was also revealed that Ananya and her Liger co-star Vijay Deverakonda went on a date while shooting their film.

Hence began a new rumor, suggesting that Ananya and Vijay had fallen for each other while working on Liger. Well in the last episode of Koffee With Karan 7, Ananya’s mother Bhavana Pandey joined KJo for coffee with her fellow Bollywood wives Gauri Khan and Maheep Kapoor. When the host asked Gauri what dating advice she would give to her daughter Suhana, the star wife replied, “Never date two boys at the same time. Never.” On hearing this, Karan turned to Bhavana and stated, “I think Ananya has done that already.” She was shocked and KJo went on to add, “I think she was oscillating in between.”

To this, Bhavana sassily replied, “No, she was thinking of two so she broke up with one.” This left everyone in splits. But her statement has made us wonder if Ananya really did fall for Vijay when she was going steady with Ishaan. Well, when Ishaan graced the koffee couch a few weeks ago, he had nothing but sweet things to say about his ex girlfriend. He had shared, “She is one of the most wonderful people I have known. She is a sweetheart, she really is. Anyone who has met her would say this. She genuinely is a sweetheart. And all pulpy questions aside, she is someone who is very dear to me and will always remain so.”
