Bollywood is going through a dry spell at the moment since netizens have decided to boycott most of their films. While Laal Singh Chaddha was ignore by many members of the audience due to statements made by lead stars Kareena Kapoor Khan and Aamir Khan in the past, some are now planning to boycott Brahmāstra claiming that Ranbir Kapoor was allegedly involved in mocking Hindu Gods during his cameo in PK. Well, recently in an interview Arjun Kapoor reacted to this trend and stated that Bollywood should unite and do something about it.
In a chat with Bollywood Hungama, Arjun shared, “I think we made a mistake by being silent about it and that was our decency but people have started taking advantage of that. I think we made a mistake by thinking that ‘our work will speak for ourselves’. You know you don't always need to get your hand dirty but I guess we tolerated it a lot and now people have made this a habit.” Well, this has not gone down well with netizens who are now brutally trolling him.
