KL Rahul and Athiya Shetty have been among the most talked about celebrity couples in recent times. Going by the recent reports, the two are finally set to take their relationship to the next level. While the couple has not yet divulged much about their marriage plans, the Bollywood actor and Indian cricketer are expected to tie the knot on January 23. The three-day grand wedding ceremony would take place at Athiya’s actor-father Suniel Shetty’s farmhouse in Khandala. The guests are expected to stay at a five-star property near Suniel Shetty’s 17-year-old Khandala house Jahaan.
According to reports, the wedding would very much be a private affair, with only family members and close friends as attendees. However, the guest list is still expected to be power-packed with attendees such as Salman Khan, Jackie Shroff, Akshay Kumar, MS Dhoni, and Virat Kohli, among others. The preparations for the grand ceremony have already begun.
The ladies’ night has been scheduled on January 21. “Athiya’s closest female friends such as actor Akanksha Ranjan will be a part of this. It is an extremely close-knit family affair. Only friends and family members will be a part of the wedding. It’s most likely that you may not see many industry peeps,” a report said citing an unidentified source.
The celebrity stylist Ami Patel has been roped into style Athiya, while the groom would be taken care of by stylist Rahul Vijay. Despite the reports, neither the star couple nor their families have confirmed anything related to the wedding plans.
Meanwhile, Athiya Shetty and KL Rahul were first publicly spotted together during the premiere of Ahaan Shetty's debut film Tadap in 2021. Athiya is often seen accompanying KL Rahul during his international cricket tours. Suniel Shetty also has been spotted at KL Rahul's cricket matches.
