Speaking to Etimes, Boney Kapoor said, “Kids don’t come out with their true ambitions right from the start. They start by saying, 'I want to do modeling and other things. They keep getting diverted from their main ambition. Finally, when they cross the age of 19-20, the thought that they want to act develops firmly in their mind." He further elaborates, "Who doesn’t like glamour? Who doesn’t like getting attention? Everyone in the world likes it whether it is in the entertainment field, academic field, or sports world."
Apart from this, the producer called The Archies a dream project for Khushi Kapoor and all the other cast members because he feels that the concept will cater to the youth. Boney Kapoor said, “It is a dream project because the target audience of films these days is the youth. Young audiences are basically movie buffs. This film also has the advantage of taking the older generation audiences on a nostalgic trip, because all of us have been big fans of Archie. It is a double whammy. The youngsters in any case will revel in the iconic world of The Archies."

Boney Kapoor furthermore revealed that Khushi Kapoor has prepped for her acting career by being alumni of the New York Film School in 2019. Kapoor said that his late wife and legendary actress Sridevi would have also supported Khushi as she had done for Janhvi Kapoor, had she been alive today. Talking about The Archies, it also stars Mihir Ahuja, Dot., Yuvraj Menda, and Vedang Raina in the lead roles.
