Chiranjeevi thanks the cast and crew of his upcoming 'Waltair Veerayya'; guarantees that the movie will exceed expectations

Superstar Chiranjeevi 's highly anticpated mass action movie Waltair Veerayya has a lot of hyoe surronding it ahead of its release.

The movie will mark the actor's first collaboration with director K. S. Ravindra, whose last movie Venky Mama which starred Venkatesh and Naga Chaitanya was a big hit.

During a recent Q&A session with the cast and crew of the movie, Chiranjeevi spoke about the team's hard work and dedication and said that he has complete confidence in director K. S. Ravindra after he heard the script.

The actor also spoke about his co-stars and the production team for all their hard work on Waltair Veerayya.

“I and Waltair Veerayya are nothing without the effort of the team. They’ve not worked on the film, they’ve invested their heart and soul into it. The main man behind the film is Bobby.

It is a wonderful film and the journey is so emotional for me. I congratulate him in advance. The film will certainly supersede expectations,” Chiranjeevi said.

Waltair Veerayya will mark the first on-screen collaboration between Chiranjeevi and Ravi Teja , who will be playing the role of ACP Vikram Sagar.

Chiranjeevi's last movie Godfather was a remake of the 2019 Malayalam movie Lucifer was a massive success and went on to gross over one hundred crores at the global box office.

Waltair Veerayya has an impressive supporting cast that includes Shruti Haasan, Catherine Tresa, Bobby Simha, Rajendra Prasad, Vennela Kishore, and Urvashi Rautela who will be performing in an item number. 

The movie is produced by Mythri Movie Makers with award-winning composer Devi Sri Prasad serving as music director, Arthur A. Wilson behind the camera, and Niranjan Devaramane in charge of editing.

Chiranjeevi is currently busy promoting the movie taking a break from his second project in 2023, the Meher Ramesh directed action-comedy movie 'Bhola Shankar' which is currently in production.

'Bhola Shankar' is a remake of the 2015 Tamil movie Vedalam which starred Ajith in the lead role.

The movie will be facing stiff competition at the box office clashing with Balakrishna's, Thalapathy Vijay's Varisu, and Ajith Kumar's Thunivu.

Waltair Veerayya will release on January 12th, 2023,
