Did Alia Bhatt tell Karan Johar she’s marrying Ranbir Kapoor the same day she shared pregnancy news with him?

Months after tying the nuptial knot with Bollywood heartthrob and her forever crush Ranbir Kapoor , actress Alia Bhatt took to her social media handle to share another piece of good news with fans. Along with a picture of her, her husband and an ultrasound machine, the beauty revealed that they are expecting their first child. The short and sweet caption read: “Our baby ….. coming soon.” Well, apart from her fans and family, her mentor Karan Johar was one of the happiest people to hear this.

In a recent chat with ETimes, the filmmaker had revealed how Alia had shared the news about her pregnancy with him. She visited him at his office where he was sitting with a cap on his head as he was having a bad hair day. Tears of joy trickled down on his face when he found out that his baby Alia is having a baby. Interestingly, on the first episode of Koffee With Karan 7 , Alia and KJo revealed how the latter reacted when she told him she was getting married to Ranbir and the two situations sound pretty similar.

In the episode, when Alia revealed that Ranveer Singh cried after looking at her proposal photos, Karan shared, “You're not the only one. When she came to tell me she's getting married to Ranbir, I was sitting in a cap because I was having a bad hair day. And I never wear a cap.” Alia went on to describe him and revealed he was wearing a baseball cap and a sweatshirt as he sat in his Dharma office. She mimicked him wiping his tears away and said, “He was looking like an emoji.”

So did Alia give Karan the news about her pregnancy as well as her wedding on the same day? Well, we can imagine how emotional the day must have been for Karan, who loves the actress like his own daughter.
