Actresses Kareena Kapoor Khan, Kriti Sanon and Tabu recently flew to Goa for the shooting of their upcoming film, The Crew. The trio’s camaraderie has been making headlines ever since they kickstarted the shoot. Recently, Kareena and Kriti were spotted at the airport as they arrived back together in Mumbai. The duo looked happy as they talked and laughed together while paparazzi clicked their pictures. While their fans loved their bond, a section of people called it fake.
In the video shared by a paparazzo’s Instagram handle, Kareena sported a grey striped shirt paired with baggy denim and wore a cap. Kriti opted for a comfortable blue three-piece co-ord set. The duo hugged before making their way to their separate cars. Reacting to the clip, one of the netizens wrote, “So much fake love fake jhappi and pappi.” “Sita aur Mandodari”, “Kareena Dadi with Kriti Aunty” and “Kareena Aunty buddhi ho gayi and Kriti Sanon young hai” were other comments by trolls. Earlier, Kareena, Kriti and Tabu bonded over ‘Chai pe charcha’ social media banter. Taking to her Instagram stories, Kriti shared a post which had a boomerang video of her enjoying tea with Tabu inside the plane. “Chai Pe Charcha, missing you @kareenakapoorkhan #TheCrew @rheakapoor The crew has boarded.” she captioned it. Kareena re-shared it on her Instagram stories and wrote, “Where are the biscuits ladies? See you tomorrow.” and dropped a red heart emoticon.
Directed by Rajesh Krishnan and backed by Rhea Kapoor and Ekta Kapoor, The Crew also stars Diljit Dosanjh in a key role. The film is set against the backdrop of the struggling airline industry. The movie marks the second collaboration of Kareena and Rhea after Veere Di Wedding (2018). Meanwhile, Kareena was last seen in Laal Singh Chadha alongside Aamir Khan. And Kriti last featured in Shehzada co-starring Kartik Aaryan.
