Forget TV queen, Ekta Kapoor wanted to be a 'Bollywood Wife' but Chunky Panday had other plans

Ekta Kapoor might be ruling the roost when it comes to the TV screens but did you know that once upon a time, she wanted to be a ‘Bollywood Wife’? Not us but this revelation comes directly from the horse’s mouth. Ekta took to her social media handle to share her birthday wish for Chunky Panday who turned a year older on September 26. However, it was her caption that was simply impossible to miss.

Talking about the same, Ekta Kapoor had taken to her now-deleted Instagram story to share a throwback picture with Chunky Panday. The picture has Ekta striking a pose with Chunky wherein she can be seen wearing a grey tee while Chunky sports a silk orange shirt. The TV Czarina had an epic caption along with the same.

Ekta Kapoor wrote, “When years ago I blushed at @chunkypanday if he had responded I’d be a Bollywood wife today. Happy Birthday.” Take a look at her post.

Interestingly, Bhavana Pandey who is now married to Chunky Panday also left laughing emojis to the post. Ekta Kapoor’s caption was in reference to the actor’s wife now being a part of the star cast of the Fabulous Lives Of Bollywood Wives . Bhavana along with Maheep Kapoor, Seema Sajdeh, and Neelam Kothari Soni can be seen going up close and personal about their lives on the show along with their friendship with each other.

Ekta Kapoor also made an appearance in the first season of Fabulous Lives Of Bollywood Wives. She was seen urging Neelam Kothari Soni to make a comeback in acting through one of her films or TV shows. Well, despite Ekta’s unfulfilled wish from her past days, it seems that Chunky Panday was destined to have Bhavana Pandey as his soulmate. The couple are also parents to actress Ananya Panday and Rysa Panday.
