From Janhvi's dig at Khushi's dress to Arjun's 'Dadi ka b'day post', a sneak peek into Nirmal Kapoor's birthday celebration

The Kapoor family gathered together to celebrate the 88th birthday of Nirmala Kapoor , mother of Boney Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, and Sanjay Kapoor. While Janhvi Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor gave it a miss, Arjun Kapoor wrote a beautiful post for his grandma on social media. Several pictures from the celebration are doing rounds on the internet. Going by them, Kapoors indeed makes a perfect family.

Taking to Instagram Sanjay’s wife Maheep shared a string o pictures from the birthday celebration. In the photos, Anil’s wife Sunita Kapoor, Boney, Boney’s daughters Anshula and Khushi, Anil’s daughter Rhea, Sanjay’s daughter Shanaya and his son Jahaan, and several other family members can be seen. Sharing the pictures, Maheep added the hashtag ‘familia' and a red heart emoji. Reacting to the pictures, Janhvi commented, "@khushi05k you are wearing my dress." She re-shared her uncle Sanjay’s post, and alongside wrote, "Fomo (sad face emoji) Happy birthday dadi (grandmother)! Love you (red heart emoji).

On the other hand, Arjun shared an adorable birthday post for his grandma in Hindi, “Happy birthday grandmother, I always pray that you may also take my age, he wrote. On Instagram stories, he also shared a behind-the-scene picture with the caption that read, “Dadi ke Happy B’day ka BTS post toh banta hai”. Even Shanaya shared a beautiful picture on her Instagram stories that featured herself with her cousins Janhvi, Khushi, and Anshula Kapoor.

Anil also posted several photos with Nirmal on Instagram. He wrote, "The wonderful daughter, wife, mother, grandmother & now great grandmother celebrates her 88th birthday today! There’s no one like you! Happy Birthday Mom! @nirmalkapoorbombay.” Other than him, Khushi and Sonam also shared birthday posts for Nirmala Kapoor on their respective Instagram handles. Meanwhile, workwise, the Kapoor clan is busy with their respective projects. Janhvi is currently shooting for her next film Mr and Mrs Mahi co-starring Rajkummar Rao. Arjun wrapped up The Lady Killer in which he will be seen opposite Bhumi Pednekar. Shanaya is soon to be making her Bollywood debut with Bedhadak, while Khushi will be entering the acting world with Zoya Akhtar’s The Archies. On the other hand, Sonam welcomed her first child with her husband Anand Ahuja recently.
