Happy Birthday Sidhu Moosewala: Late singer's fans say 'Legends don't die', ask for justice

Today marks the birth anniversary of Sidhu Moosewala who was tragically shot dead on May 29 at his Mansa village in Punjab. The singer would have been 29 years of age today. His fans started remembering him on this special day with bitter-sweet emotions and also asked for justice for his gruesome assassination.

Meanwhile, Sidhu Moosewala’s last rites were held on May 31 at his family’s ancestral land and thousands of his fans had gathered outside his home to pay their respects. Canadian-based gangster Goldy Brar and the Lawrence Bishnoi gang have reportedly taken up the responsibility for his assassination. ‘ The Last Ride ’ singer was shot dead a day after his security was downgraded by the government. While Sidhu’s fans ask for justice, it was earlier reported that the Punjab government will review the decision of downgrading Sidhu Moosewala’s security. The decision was reportedly taken by the state government to control the VIP culture in Punjab. The singer’s father had shared an emotional video on his son’s social media account wherein he had stated that he is still mourning his son’s loss and that he will not be contesting any elections.
