Janhvi Kapoor dons a saree for her next Ulajh, a fan says 'Please don't ruin the storyline by your Oscar Level Acting'

Ever since Janhvi Kapoor made her acting debut with Dhadak, the star kid has been facing criticism for her privileged career. Unfazed by massive trolling, the actress continues to bag several acting projects and focus on her work. In the latest, the actress has announced her next titled Ulajh, in which she is set to play the role of an Indian Foreign Services officer.

Sharing the first look on her Instagram, Janhvi wrote, “The price of secrets is higher in the world of Diplomacy.#Ulajh - Shoot begins at the end of the month.” In the photo, Janhvi is seen wearing a saree while standing beside the talented ensemble cast including Rajesh Tailang, Gulshan Devaiah, Sachin Khedekar, Jitendra Joshi, Roshan Mathew, Meiyang Chang and Rajendra Gupta. Billed as a patriotic thriller, the film will be directed by National Award winner Sudhanshu Saria and backed by Junglee Pictures.

As soon as Janhvi shared the news, the celebrities and netizens spammed the comment section with their reactions. Veteran actor and Janhvi’s uncle Anil Kapoor wished her all the best, and the fashion designer Manish Malhotra dropped clapping emojis. On the other hand, one of the netizens commented, “Please don't ruin the storyline by your Oscar Level Acting. It's a request.” Another netizen trolled, “Beautiful actress with zero acting skills.” “Director koi bhi ho ...actress ko bhi acting aana chahiye,” read one of the comments. Another comment read, “Na shakal , na akal , na acting super duper flop hai ye nepo product fir bhi movies milti hai. Isne flop movies ka record bana dena hai.”

Meanwhile, Janhvi earlier announced her debut in Telugu cinema co-starring Jr NTR on Instagram. Sharing her first look, she captioned her post as, “It is finally happening

Can't wait to set sail with my favourite @jrntr #NTR30 :)” Besides this, she also has Sharan Sharma’s upcoming film, Mr& Mrs Mahi opposite Rajkummar Rao. On the personal front, she is reportedly dating Shikhar Pahariya, the grandson of politician and Maharashtra's former Chief Minister Sushilkumar Shinde.
