Janhvi shares her excitement about Boney Kapoor’s acting debut with Ranbir’s next; calls sister Khushi ‘so pure’

Sridevi was a superstar and her elder daughter Janhvi Kapoor also followed in her footsteps all the way to Bollywood. She began her journey with Dhadak and went on to win hearts with her versatility and charming smile in films like Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl and Good Luck Jerry. Well, two more members of the Kapoor Khaandaan are now busy gearing up for their acting debuts-- Janhvi’s sister Khushi Kapoor and their filmmaker father Boney Kapoor .

As we all know by now, Sridevi’s younger daughter Khushi will begin her career in the Hindi film industry with Zoya Akhtar’s upcoming Netflix movie, The Archies . One of the most awaited releases of 2023, it also marks the debut of Amitabh Bachchan’s grandson Agastya Nanda and Shah Rukh Khan’s daughter Suhana Khan. Well, talking about her sister to Good Times, Janhvi shared, “Doesn’t Khushi light up the screen? Honestly, if you look at my sister objectively, with an open mind and heart, she’s so pure that you can see it on her face. It’s the most special thing.”

Her father Boney, on the other hand, is all set to make his acting debut with Luv Ranjan’s upcoming romantic comedy. He will be seen as Ranbir Kapoor’s on-screen father in this project, which also stars Shraddha Kapoor. Calling herself her father’s senior, Janhvi expressed her excitement. She was quoted saying, “It’s amazing that he got to try his hand at something new at this age… We have hardly been together of late, given our schedules.” Boney is in Chennai right now, whereas Khushi is in Ooty.

Meanwhile Janhvi is bust shooting for Mr And Mrs Mahi. She also announced her next release Mili today. Well, we can’t wait to see these three Kapoors shine on screen soon!
