Karisma Kapoor shares first picture of newlyweds Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor from their reception

After 5 long years of dating, actors Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor finally tied the nuptial knot at their Bandra home earlier this week. The two twinned in matching ivory ensembles designed by Sabyasachi as they got married in the presence of their close friends and family. While it was a private ceremony, Ranbir’s sisters Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, Karisma Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan shared many beautiful sneak peeks from his D-Day on social media, much to the delight of fans.

Last night, Ranbir and Alia hosted their grand reception, which was attended by popular celebrities from the industry including Shah Rukh and Gauri Khan, Arjun Kapoor , Malaika Arora and Karan Johar amongst others. Riddhima did share a selfie with her brother but we eagerly waited for a snap of the newlyweds. Well, Karisma has now uploaded Alia and Ranbir’s first photograph from the star-studded evening on her official handle. In this picture, Alia is dressed in a shimmery outfit whereas Ranbir looks dapper in black.

In the caption below, Karisma shared, “Big Love for Mr and Mrs Ranbir Kapoor #aboutlastnight #merebhaikishaadihai.” Another photograph from the reception was shared by Riddhima some time back in which she is seen posing with her mother Neetu Kapoor and Lolo. Well, the Biwi No. 1 actress had a gala time at her brother’s wedding. By the looks of the shaadi pictures, Karisma danced her heart out and was extremely happy when Alia’s kaleera fell on her head.
