'Legend talking about a legend' : Shah Rukh Khan praises Messi's talent and hard work after latter's win at the FIFA World Cup

The historic FIFA World Cup match yesterday night (December 18) saw Argentina lift the coveted trophy after 36 long years with a tough fight from France. Superstar Shah Rukh Khan who was seen in a pre-match interview, much to the happiness of his fans, also tweeted his happiness on Argentina’s delightful victory. The actor also praised Messi that left his fans swooning with happiness.

Talking about the same, Shah Rukh Khan took to his Twitter handle to state how he used to watch the World Cup with his mother on a small TV and is now watching the match with his kids. The megastar then praised Lionel Messi for making everyone believe in talent, hard work, and dreams. His tweet said, “We are living in the time of one of the best World Cup Finals ever. No sooner did Shah Rukh Khan tweet about the same, than the fans couldn’t stop expressing their joy at the actor praising the football legend Messi. One of the fans tweeted, “Legend taking bout a legend” while another user said, “Kings will always support Kings.” Another netizen added, “From one talented actor to another talented footballer. The common denominator for such giants in their field - Hard work.” Many fans also added, “GOAT to GOAT” for Shah Rukh’s tweet calling both him and Messi, the ‘Greatest Of All Times.’ Some fans also tweeted Shah Rukh’s interaction with football veteran Wayne Rooney at the pre-match interview.
