'Made me and my family extremely uncomfortable' : Urvashi Rautela sends legal notice to a journalist for defaming her

Urvashi Rautela is under the radar again, this time for sending a legal notice to a journalist for defaming her in one of his Twitter posts. An overseas-based journalist claimed on his social media handle that the actress has been allegedly harassed by South actor Akhil Akkineni while working with him in the movie Agent. Urvashi took to her Instagram to share a statement wherein she not only rubbished the news but also revealed that she has sent a defamation legal notice to the journalist.

The tweet by the journalist who goes by the name of Umair Sandhu stated that Akhil Akkineni harassed Urvashi Rautela during the shooting of their movie Agent in Europe. He further added that according to the Great Grand Masti actress, Akhil is an immature actor and she was very uncomfortable working with him. Sharing a screenshot of the post, Urvash put the stamp of ‘FAKE’ over the same, labeling it as false news.

In the same post, Urvashi stated, “DEFAMATION LEGAL NOTICE HAS BEEN SERVED BY MY LEGAL TEAM. DEFINITELY DISGRUNTLED BY INDECENT JOURNALIST LIKE YOU FOR YOUR SPURIOUS / RIDICULOUS TWEETS. YOU’RE NOT MY OFFICIAL SPOKESPERSON. AND YES YOU’RE VERY IMMATURE KIND OF A JOURNALIST WHO MADE ME & MY FAMILY EXTREMELY UNCOMFORTABLE.” Take a look at the same.

While some fans supported the actress in the comments section, others took this opportunity to troll her even further. One of her fans wrote, “Don't worry @urvashirautela ma'am all urvashians are with you we will always support you we will always stand by you.” However, one of the netizens said, “No one can harass a girl who is harassing all cricket fans just by her posts..”

Meanwhile, Urvashi Rautela has also time and again been trolled for allegedly stalking cricketer Rishab Pant. However, the actress has lashed out at such netizens slamming these allegations. On the work front, Urvashi will be seen alongside Ram Pothineni in a South film and in the web series Agent Avinash with Randeep Hooda.
