Mouni Roy ties the knot with Suraj Nambiar in a simple traditional South Indian wedding; See photos of the newly weds

Mouni Roy married her longtime boyfriend Suraj Nambiar in Goa this morning in a traditional South Indian wedding. The pictures from the ceremony are now flooding social media where Mouni and Suraj’s simple and love-filled ceremony is winning hearts.

The actress looked ethereal in a white saree with a heavy red border while Suraj was dressed in a simple kurta and a lungi. Officially Mr. and Mrs. Nambiar now, the couple’s intimate pre-wedding festivities started yesterday with the mehendi and haldi ceremonies being held among family and friends in attendance.

Actor Arjun Bijlani who is a close friend of Mouni shared a picture from the wedding ceremony. The actress was also seen posing with singer Manmeet Singh dressed as a bride.

Congratulatory messages are now pouring in for the newlyweds from fans and collegues of Mouni from the industry.

The actress during her pre-wedding festivities also posed with many of her friends including Mandira Bedi and Aashka Goradia who also attended the wedding. Looking stunning in a yellow outfit for her mehendi, the actress also danced away the afternoon while happily posing with family and friends.

From their haldi, Mouni and Suraj’s romantic moments have been the winners. The actress had also shared a stunning picture with Suraj on social media on Wednesday for the very first time and captioned it ‘Everything’.

The couple tied the knot in the Hilton Resort in Candolim Goa.

Suraj is a businessman based in Dubai and Mouni is successfully balancing a career between films and TV in Mumbai. The actress will be seen next in Bramhastra.
