Bollywood star Ranveer Singh has been summouned for questioning by the Mumbai Police after his all bare photoshoot for the Paper Magazine landed him in trouble. The nude pictures of Ranveer from the photoshoot were deemed as ‘offensive to women’ by certain sections and an F.I.R was registered against him by an NGO.
While Ranveer has been getting widespread support from fans and Bollywood alike, he has now been asked to join the investigation and appear for answering on August 22. The actor has so far in the case not issued a statement on the whole controversy and the response to his pictures has been mostly positive. Netizens regardless of the actor’s eccentricity refuse to believe that there’s anything wrong with the photoshoot where Ranveer has bared it all for the cameras.
As the news of his summon hit the headlines, some have now dragged in Urfi Javed wondering why there hasn’t been a complaint against her yet and why she’s not being summoned by the police to answer for her fashion choices that often raise eyebrows.

Police arrived at Ranveer’s residence on Friday to serve him the notice according to news agency PTI, but the actor was unavailable. The officials were later informed that the actor is not in the city till 16 August and will be receiving the notice for investigation then.
