Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan Khan applies for the return of his passport from court after getting clean chit in drug case

Superstar Shah Rukh Khan ’s son Aryan Khan has filed an application seeking the return of his passport from the court after he got a clean chit in the drug case. The case in question was of the narcotics substances that were found on a ship named Cordelia in October 2021. The star kid was given a clean chit after the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) did not name him in the charge sheet that was filed on the case. This was after Aryan had spent almost a month in Arthur Road Jail last year in October.

According to a news report in PTI, Aryan Khan filed an application in the special court to return back his passport. Aryan filed the application on Thursday (June 30) through his lawyers Rahul Agarwal of Desai Desai Carrimjee and Mulla and Amit Desai. The application filed by the star kid stated that the Narcotics Control Bureau charge sheet does not mention his name so his passport should be handed back to him.

The court has taken notice of Aryan Khan’s application and has asked the Narcotics Control Bureau to give a reply. Furthermore, the matter has been scheduled for a hearing on July 13. The star kid was required to hand over his passport to the court as one of the criteria for his bail and was prohibited from flying abroad or even outside Mumbai for that matter. Aryan was also required to attend the NCB agency office every week on Friday as part of his bail conditions.

Meanwhile, it was earlier reported that Aryan Khan is writing and developing an idea for a movie and a web series that will be backed by Red Chillies Entertainment . However, an overseas censor board member, Umair Sandhu had earlier tweeted that Aryan has signed an action-masala film that will be helmed by Karan Johar. However, there hasn’t been any more developments on the same.
