Singham 3: Rohit Shetty gives an exciting development on the Ajay Devgn starrer cop drama

If there is one onscreen cop in Bollywood who will forever remain memorable for the fans, it is inevitably Ajay Devgn ’s Singham. After enticing the fans in Singham (2011) and Singham Returns (2014), Ajay will don the cap of the slick cop once again in Singham 3. Rohit Shetty in his recent interview confirmed the news about the third installment of the franchise but also hinted that there is still a lot of time for the actioner to go on floors.

According to a news report in BollywoodLife, Rohit Shetty confirmed that Singham 3 is definitely on the cards but he also stated that he will start working on the same only after the release of the Ranveer Singh starrer Cirkus. The publication quoted him to reveal, “While Singham is technically part of Simba and Sooryavanshi , it’s been a long time since I worked with Ajay. The last Singham came in 2014 and is yet one of the most favorite films on satellite. Time has changed and the canvas has become bigger and I have been wanting to make something with Ajay.”

Apart from this, Rohit Shetty furthermore added that Singham will be much bigger and better than the previous movies. Meanwhile, Ranveer Singh starrer Cirkus will be released in December 2022 reportedly. The film also stars Pooja Hegde , Jacqueline Fernandez, and Varun Sharma in the lead roles.

Earlier in November last year, a news report in Pinkvilla quoted a source close to the movie who said, “It’s among the most patriotic films that Rohit and Ajay are collaborating on, as it is set against the backdrop of turbulent Indo-Pak relationship. The premise has Kashmir in its backdrop, and it’s a story special to all the stakeholders. Given the plot and vibe, the makers feel, it’s best to bring the film on the big screen during the Independence Day 2023 weekend.”
