Twitterati want Akshay Kumar in Lionel Messi's biopic after Argentina wins FIFA World Cup 2022

Akshay Kumar is one of the Bollywood actors who has essayed major real-life characters onscreen, hence has become the king of biopics in B-town. After the legendary football player, Lionel Messi created history at FIFA World Cup Final with his victory against France in the finals, the Twittarati started a Bollywood-inspired meme fest. And Akshay made it to most of the memes that talked about Messi’s biopic.

Just after Messi and the Argentinian team held the prestigious World Cup trophy, pictures of Akshay in Argentine colours began doing the rounds online. The actor’s still from Housefull 3 scene began circulating on social media with the caption, "Akshay Kumar to play Messi in his biopic." One Twitter user wrote, “Akshay already getting ready for his next movie." "Lionel Messi: The Legend of Argentina Biopic incoming! Starring @akshaykuma,” stated a fan. “Akshay Kumar announced a biopic on Messi. Starts preparations.,” added another user. Earlier, the actor worked in biopics including, Airlift, Pad Man, and Mission Mangal. His frequency of doing issue-based or real-life characters in films has led to a long-running joke that he is always after such stories to turn them into films. Up next, he will be portraying mining engineer Sardar Jaswant Singh Gill in an upcoming biopic, tentatively titled Capsule Gill. Besides it, he also signed up for essaying the role of Major General Ian Cardozo, a legendary officer of the Gorkha Regiment of the Indian Army, in the upcoming film, Gorkha.

Meanwhile, Akshay also has a romantic drama, Selfiee alongside Nushrratt Bharuccha, Diana Penty, and Emraan Hashmi. He has Bade Miyan Chote Miyan , Soorarai Pottru remake and Oh My God 2 in the pipeline.
