Vijay Deverakonda – A superstar untainted by a movie’s success

The most recent example of a superstar who remained untouched with the film’s success is Vijay Deverakonda, who became an overnight sensation owing to the buzz he generated with Liger and his stirring performance in the film. The actor is one of a select handful who successfully won the hearts of the general people with his powerful performance in Liger, despite its performance at the box office.

Despite not having the big numbers of the movie to rely on, Vijay demonstrated his mettle and utterly dominated the screen with his presence. With the release of the movie, Vijay completely took over the nation, was discussed on talk shows, broke the internet with every asset of the film and just about made up for any shortcomings Liger may have had.

Such is the superstar’s craze and the unwavering confidence filmmakers have in him; that his upcoming release ‘Khushi’ too has many takers prior to its release. The film clinched an astonishing deal for its non-theatrical rights and sold its digital, Hindi satellite, South language digital and audio rights for all languages for an approximate 100 crores.
