Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Panday’s hectic promotion schedule for Liger raise alarms: ‘Do producers think they are robots?’

Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Panday are leaving no stone unturned to promote their upcoming movie, Liger . The stars have been almost everywhere in the country in the last few days. From fans’ interaction in Mumbai to stopping by tea stalls in Bihar, Punjab, and other states, the actors are aggressively trying to increase buzz around their upcoming movie. Amid this, netizens have raised concern saying that the hectic promotions won’t promise a blockbuster.

Recently, Vijay and Ananya were spotted at the airport as they returned from Indore after finishing their promotion in the city. While Vijay looked weary, Ananya too looked drained as the duo walked out of the airport. The video of them was shared online by a paparazzi account. As soon as it surfaced, Instagram users bombarded the comment section expressing their anxiety over the duo's hectic promotion schedules.

While one user wrote, “Yr ye kitna promotion krte ha ek film me lie,”. Another slammed the film producers saying “Does producers think that they are robots or what,...they are promoting like hell everyday, in every city ...and vijay has fallen sick and coughing everywhere...pls just give them a break...koi nahi karta itna promotion bhai”. One of them also pointed out that if movie becomes hit even without promotions. “If film is good ppl will definitely go watch it .y such hectic promotions for the actors feels so sorry for this ppl ..even movies have become hit wdout promotions.”

After Aamir Khan’s Laal Singh Chaddha and Akshay Kumar’s Raksha Bandhan box office debacle, all eyes in the film business are on Liger. The upcoming action drama revolves around an underdog MMA fighter played by Vijay, and Ananya essays his love interest. The movie also has Ramya Krishnan and Ronit Roy in pivotal roles. Legendary boxer Mike Tyson is also making an extended cameo in the movie. Directed by Puri Jagannadh and produced by Dharma Productions, the action flick is headed for the largest possible release on August 25.
