When Ranbir Kapoor said he wants to be the favourite actor of Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone's 'awesome babies'

Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are all set to become parents soon and it is all anybody on social media can talk about. The newlyweds recently announced their pregnancy and now all eyes are on them. Ranbir is amazing with kids if any old videos of the actor around kids are any indication and he also wants to the favourite actor of Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone ’s children.

Ranbir graced Karan Johar ’s show Koffee With Karan with Ranveer Singh and season 5 and the two actors were asked by the filmmaker if there has ever been any awkwardness between them about the fact that they have both dated Deepika.

The Shamshera actor had made it abundantly clear on the show that there is none and Ranveer who was trying hard and failing at hiding the fact that he’s dating Deepika seconded that.

Ever the straight shooter, Ranbir said on the episode which aired in 2016, “See it’s been seven or eight years, nearly a decade and everyone concerned is over it. We’ve positively moved on in our lives and it’s high that Koffee with Karan also moves on. Because there’s no elephant, it has disappeared, it is invisible.”

When Ranveer was asked if Ranbir and Deepika’s shared history brothers him, he simply said, “No. Why should it? Should it?”

The two actors confessed that they have hung out together as a group lots of times and Ranbir also went on to shower praises on Deepika and Ranveer as a couple and added that he wants them to have ‘awesome babies’ together and that he should be their favourite actor.

He said, “I have hung out with them and I think have this amazing creative partnership on screen. Beyond that, just the way they are with each other, they complement each other very well. They are in ways perfect to each other’s energies and I am really happy for them and I hope that they can see this through and make some really awesome babies together and I hope their babies like me as an actor and that I am their favourite actor.”

Well, on Ranbir’s vision of the future regarding his relationship with Deepika, Ranveer reacted and said, “I don’t know why today of all day why Ranbir has decided to say something out of line. He’s usually on point.”

The chat moved on pretty quickly from there into another direction but 6 years into the future, both actors have married the loves of their life and while Deepika and Ranveer are focused on their careers at this point after tying the knot in 2018, Ranbir is ready to start a family with Alia Bhatt after marrying her in April earlier this year.
