On the first anniversary of their film Shershaah , Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani hinted at reuniting for another project during a surprise live chat. A few days later the rumored love birds were snapped outside Karan Johar ’s Dharma office in Mumbai. They left in the same car and looked quite happy post their meeting. This left fans wondering what’s cooking. Well, it has now been revealed that Kiara and Sidharth are coming together for not one, but two exciting back-to-back projects!
Some time back we had reported that Sidharth and Kiara’s next film is titled Adal Badal , which will be a unique romantic comedy with lots of VFX and CGI work involved. Buzz suggested that the story would revolve around their souls being interchanged. Well, the latest report shared by Pinkvilla has now revealed that the two actors will also collaborate in another romantic comedy helmed by Shashank Khaitan . A source shared that this film is different from Adal Badal for which the script has been locked by Sunir Kheterpal but he is yet to find a director.
Talking about Shashank’s film, the source stated, “The yet untitled rom com will be directed by Shashank Khaitan, known for films like Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania and Badrinath Ki Dulhania. The filmmaker had a detailed meeting with Sid and Kiara recently, and the duo have agreed in principle to be a part of Shashank’s rom com. The paperwork is still remaining, but if all goes as planned, the film will go on floors by the end of this year.”
How wonderful is this! Fans were trying to manifest one on-screen reunion for Sidharth and Kiara after Shershaah, and now we are getting two exciting projects with the love birds in the lead. The cherry on top is a big announcement regarding the two that Shahid Kapoor hinted at in the trailer of Koffee With Karan 7’s upcoming episode. It’s going to be an eventful year. Wink!
