Amitabh Bachchan extends wishes to Brahmastra co-stars Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor ahead of their wedding

Ahead of Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt ’s wedding, legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan extended heartfelt greetings to the couple as they embark on a beautiful journey together in the coming days.

Taking to Instagram, the veteran actor shared the first glimpse of the song Kesariya from Brahmastra , and wrote, “Wishing our Isha and Shiva all the Love, Luck and Light as they gear up to embark on a very special journey in the coming days. Let's kickstart the celebration with something special from Team Brahmastra". Take a look:

To note, Amitabh is sharing the screen space with Alia and Ranbir in Ayan Mukerji ’s upcoming Brahmastra. The film is backed by Karan Johar ’s Dharma Productions and is set to release on September 9, 2022.

Apart from Amitabh, veteran actor Rakesh Roshan also extended best wishes to the couple. He told ETimes that he hopes for them to have a good marriage. Ranbir’s late father Rishi Kapoor and Rakesh have been very close friends.

Meanwhile, Alia and Ranbir are set to marry on Thursday i.e April 14 at the Vastu Apartment in Bandra. The wedding date was confirmed by Ranbir’s mother Neetu Kapoor and sister Riddhima Kapoor on Wednesday evening. The mother-daughter duo revealed the date and venue of the wedding to the photographers outside Ranbir’s house Vastu. Watch the video here:

On Wednesday, the Mehendi ceremony wrapped on a dazzling note as Alia and Ranbir’s family attended the ceremony dressed in their festive best. Apart from Neetu and Riddhima, Mahesh Bhatt , Soni Razdan, Shaheen Bhatt , Pooja Bhatt, Rahul Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor , Karisma Kapoor , Aadar Jain, Rima Jain, Shweta Bachchan , Navya Nanda Naveli, Ayan Mukerji, and Karan Johar became the part of the celebration.

As per reports, Ranbir and Alia’s wedding will be an intimate but grand affair which will be followed by a grand reception where the couple will host their friends and colleagues from the film industry.
