Amitabh Bachchan & Rashmika Mandanna's family drama 'Goodbye' to release on October 7

The much-anticipated first look poster of Amitabh Bachchan and Rashmika Mandanna ’s family drama Goodbye was unveiled on Saturday. Backed by Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji Motion Pictures dropped the first glimpse on its official Instagram handle, writing “Get ready to experience a heartwarming story about life, family and relationships” in cinemas on October 7.

Directed by Vikas Bahl, the film also features Neena Gupta , Pavail Gulati, Elli Avrram, and Suni Grover in prominent roles. The first look shows Amitabh, Rashmika, Neena, and other cast members sitting in a living room as they watch some sporting event on television. While Amitabh is dressed in blue sweatshirts, Rashmika sitting beside him also sported a yellow sweatshirt. Have a look:

The film marks Rashmika’s first foray into Bollywood, and also her first screen sharing with legendary actor Amitabh. As soon as the poster surfaced, intrigued fans showered compliments. While one user wrote, “This looks light, fun and interesting, very different from the kind of films out today.” Another fan loved the casting. “Good to see how far Rashmika has come, sharing space with Mr Bachchan.”

Meanwhile, Rashmika has earlier shared her working experience with Amitabh saying that the actor made everyone feel comfortable on the sets. "Mr. Bachchan has been an absolute doll, he is such an amazing person and a legend. From every rehearsal to shoot, he made it absolutely fun and amazing. Any words for him would be too little to describe him,” she had told India Today. Besides Goodbye, Rashmika will also be seen in Animal opposite Ranbir Kapoor and Mission Majnu opposite Sidharth Malhotra .
