The studio released some new images from the movie some of which are familiar and some never before seen shots.
These images showcase the amazing CGI on display, the sequel to 2009s Avatar, The Way of Water is set ten years after the events of the first movie and will focus on the return of the human invaders to Pandora.
The movie also has there sequels in development, James Cameron had said in recent interviews that he would like to pass on the mantle of director after the third movie.
The Way of Water is set to release in December .
The director's recent comments calling out online trolls in which he dismissed concerns about the movie runtime.
Avatar is still the higest grossing movie of all time and managed to gross over 2.8 billion dollars worldwide.
The sequel has a budget of 250 million roughly around the same as the original.
The movie stars Zoe Saldana, Sam Worthington, Sigourney Weaver, Stephen Lang, Cliff Curtis, Joel David Moore, CCH Pounder, Edie Falco, Jemaine Clement, and Kate Winslet.
The Way of Water will hit the big screen on December 16, 2022.
