Jailer Twitter review: Rajnikanth makes a blockbuster comeback with Nelson DilipKumar's film, Twitterati say 'Got Rajinified'

Superstar Rajinikanth has created a massive frenzy among fans with Jailer upon its release in cinemas. The film marks the superstar's return to the screen after a gap of two years. For the first time, he collaborated with director Nelson Dilipkumar and promises a blockbuster with his power-packed performance alongside actors Mohanlal and Shiva Rajkumar, who played cameos. Twitter is abuzz with positive reviews of Jailer with fans calling it a ‘masterpiece’.

“Watching Rajinikanth play a simple family man in #Jailer was such a joyful exercise. I don't remember seeing the actor, whose characters always carried a larger-than-life aura, indulge in such 'normal' everyday activities. #Jailer It’s a good 1st half. Had Actor #Rajinikanth Gethu, comedy, sentiment.. but a bit rusty 2nd half. Nelson’s version of film and Big star’s version gets in between his screenplay and that’s the only issue.. Anirudh’s Bgm makes every scene Visually appealing! DOP’s work 👌🏻

The film focuses on the life of a jailer and how he stops a gang from helping their leader to escape from jail. The film also has Jackie Shroff, Ramya Krishnan, Tamannaah, Vinayakan and several others as part of the cast. Anirudh Ravichander composed the music for the movie. #Jailer @rajinikanth Director Nelson gets his dues as well, various special subjects & associated dialogues. So much refreshing to watch whole movie without complaining. I loved the flashback getup; dying moments doesn't come with "close game" mentality, GUNS vs knives sentiment.
