Amazon Prime Video on Thursday announced over 40 new titles, in various languages across original series, movies, and co-productions that it plans to launch over the next two years.

After the massive success of Shershaah and Gehraiyaan on Amazon Prime Video , Karan Johar announced the latest slate of releases including three films and four original series on the OTT giant. Post its theatrical releases, The Dharma Productions films- Rocky Aur Rani Ki Kahani, Jug Jugg Jeeyo , and Govinda Naam Tera will exclusively stream on Amazon’s digital platform.
Taking to his Instagram handle, Karan shared an announcement video and captioned it: “It’s going to be an entertainment packed year with @dharmamovies & @dharmaticent - in collaboration with @primevideoin. After the success of #Shershaah & #Gehraiyaan, we have a line up of 3 films streaming on your home screens after the big theatres - #JugJuggJeeyo, #GovindaNaamMera & #RockyAurRaniKiPremKahani. Marking the beginning of @dharmaticent relationship - we have 1 thrilling film based on true events called #AyeWatanMereWatan and 4 new series kickstarting with #CallMeBae & #IndiaLoveProject. Directed by Karan Johar himself, Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani is touted to be a family drama starring Ranveer Singh , Alia Bhatt , Dharmendra , Jaya Bachchan, and Shabana Azmi . While Raj Mehta’s Jug Jugg Jeeyo is an upcoming comedy-drama featuring Varun Dhawan , Kiara Advani , Anil Kapoor , and Neetu Kapoor. The Shashank Khaitan directorial, Govinda Naam Tera stars Vicky Kaushal , Kiara Advani, and Bhumi Pednekar in lead roles and is again a comedy-drama.
On the other hand, the four original series produced under Dharmatic Entertainment include Call Me Bae, India Love Project, Aye Watan…Mera Watan, and the fourth project is yet to be announced. The upcoming series, Call Me Bae is about a billionaire fashionista who has to fend for herself after her super-rich family disowns her following a salacious scandal. It is written by Ishita Moitra, Samina Motlekar, and Rohit Nair.
While India Love Project is touted to be a docuseries that will showcase the inspiring love stories of real people from across the country. Aye Watan...Mere Watan is a movie inspired by true events that revolve around a young girl who became uniquely instrumental in the freedom fight for Indian independence. It is written by Darab Farooqui and directed by Kannan Iyer.
Meanwhile, Amazon Prime Video on Thursday announced over 40 new titles, in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu, across original series, original movies, and co-productions that it plans to launch over the next 24 months.
