Talking about the same, trade analyst Manobala Vijayabalan took to his social media handle to state how KGF Chapter 2 has earned Rs 676.80 crore in just 7 days of its release. Day 1 - ₹ 165.37 cr, Day 2 - ₹ 139.25 cr, Day 3 - ₹ 115.08 cr, Day 4 - ₹ 132.13 cr, Day 5 - ₹ 73.29 cr, Day 6 - ₹ 51.68 cr, Total - ₹ 676.80 cr. In another tweet, the analyst also wrote, “#KGF2 with ₹676.80 cr BEATS #Baahubali's lifetime gross of ₹650 cr to become the 8th HIGHEST grossing Indian movie of all time.” The action sequel collected a whopping Rs 5.09 crore share in the southern regions like Andhra Pradesh and Telangana on Monday (April 18). KGF Chapter 2 has become the first Kannada film to reach Rs 39 crore in the USA in just five days.

Talking about the film, KGF Chapter 2 is a sequel to the 2018 hit movie KGF, which revolves around a gangster named Rocky , and his return to the titular Kolar Gold Fields where he was born. He crosses paths with the dreadful Adheera, played by Sanjay Dutt after a turf war erupted. Bankrolled by Vijay Kiragandur, under the Hombale Films banner, the movie also stars Raveena Tandon, Srinidhi Shetty, and Prakash Raj in key roles.
