Despite facing many delays due to the pandemic the movie Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One finally got a trailer and it is action-packed. Tom Cruise returned as IMF agent Ethan Hunt to wow the audience with his daredevil stunts.
The movie is written and directed by Christopher McQuarrie and is set to release in2023, the movie's story will continue over in Mission Impossible 8 which is currently in the early stages of production.
The movies are rumoured to be a send-off for Ethan Hunt and will conclude the franchise, now whether that is true remains to be seen.
The trailer doesn't give away much of the plot but does show Hunt and his team traveling around the globe in order to save the world from a new threat, something the likes of which they have never faced.
The new threat comes in the form of actor Esai Morales who will be playing the main bad guy and we see him in action showing of his skills with a blade.
Of course, the main take away from the trailer is that Tom Cruise keeps pushing the envelope with each new entry. We see him on horseback riding through a desert, fitting on top of a speeding train, racing through the streets of Rome with Haley Hayley Atwell who plays grace and finally riding a bike over a cliff wearing a parachute.
If this is what the trailer has to offer, the movie will be on another level.
Another big take away is the return of Henry Czerny as Eugene Kittridge, an IMF agent from the first Mission Impossible movie and someone who is at odds with Hunt.
The movie will see the main cast from the previous movies make a return which includes Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg, Rebecca Ferguson, and Vanessa Kirby, and joining them in supporting roles are Shea Whigham, Pom Klementieff, Esai Morales, Henry Czerny, Rob Delaney, Cary Elwes, Indira Varma, Mark Gatiss, Charles Parnell, Greg Tarzan Davis, and Frederick Schmidt.
